Hey, it's Thevni! Okay, from now on, I will address myself as Alex. It's my nickname, remember. Just to tell you, Shanghai is a pretty cool place. Here, you could see tall buildings and shopping malls and schools! There are so many tourist sites, like "The Bund" near the Huang Pu River in East Nanjing Rd. At night, you could see colorful lights all around you! You know that building that was named the tallest building in the world in 2008? It's still here in it's original state, people go in to see Shanghai from the sky. It's scary looking down from there, specially when there's glass floors. The next famous tourist site is the Pearl Tower in Xujiazui. The tower got it's name from the three rotating pearls, no like it actually rotates quite fast. If you are inside the pearl, you can that it rotates pretty fast. It's famous for the shopping and restaurants it has. You might like going shopping of things that you can't afford to buy anywhere else at Yuyuan Garden. It's not really a garden, it's more of a shopping street. You could buy lanterns, candles, paint, festivity things, clothes, shoes, etc. It's amazing how much you can buy in Yuyuan Garden! The first time I went there I thought was like any other shopping street in Shanghai, but when I saw what they were selling, I was speechless! I wanted that thing, I wanted this thing, I wanted all the things! Shanghai is really fabulous once you get know what's there!

Thevni "Alex" Lelwala

Hello and welcome to my blog! Let me give you a short introduction of myself, my name is Thevni Lelwala. I was born in Shanghai, China, the same day as Taylor Swift but on 2000. I'm from Sri Lanka but live in Shanghai. My favorite T.V show is Wizard's of Waverly Place because Alex Russo, who is Selena Gomez, is hilarious! My nickname is Alex, so feel free to call me Alex. I like doodling in my books and love watching T.V! I don't like doing homework, doing chores around the house but I like keeping my room clean, which doesn't turn out so great. I like writing short stories, and reading comics. I have a lot of friends at school and I like being at school rather than being at home doing nothing. In Sri Lanka, I live with my grandmother in Colombo. It's a beautiful place, it's mother nature all around! There are so many legends and tales of kings and queens. Just to tell you, my mother told me that my name, Thevni, was the name of a queen. Hooray!
